…She is far more Precious than Jewels

Hey Sis! 

So as I was riding to work this morning, I got on YouTube to find a sermon to listen to on the road and stumbled across a phenomenal message by Joshua Eze entitled The Proverbs 31 Woman Pt. 1. Y’all know I’m all about Proverbs 31, so of course I was all ears!

I encourage you all to take a listen, it will definitely bless your life, as it did mine! As young Christian women, we are faced with the challenge of separating ourselves from society’s opinion of how a woman should look, etc. Everywhere we turn we see women being objectified, and what’s really sad is most women that are okay with being objectified don’t know their worth…which can be found only in Christ!

It is so important, ladies, to keep our eyes on God and his Word. According to Christ, we are precious, we are beautiful, we are valued, we belong to him! Society will tell you the opposite: your worth is found only in your physical beauty, only in the clothes you wear, only in the amount of “likes” you get on IG…etc. But no!!

I’m perfectly fine if society doesn’t think I’m pretty enough, my IG ain’t popping enough, etc. Because MY GOD loves me for exactly who I am!!! And that is sufficient for me 🙂
